After his State Title win a week earlier, Koran 'Killa' Atkinson came to Moora Speedway full of confidence for the 'Forma-Tel' 1000. Killa was consistent throughout the heats which gave him pole for the feature, and he was never seriously challenged over the 20 laps. He attributed the win to his hard working crew including Keith Bradford who put the engine back together prior to the event.
Unlucky on the night was Phil Zudiema who blew his engine in the 2nd heat while leading, Phil was one of the drivers that many thought could topple Atkinson's dominance.
Heat winners were Trevor 'The Bandit' Bosveld, Colin 'The Outlaw' Dolmans & Jason 'Stealth' Bond.

This meeting doubled as the last round of the 'Wrothy's Workshop Gear' Country TriSeries. The drivers will have to wait to the Trophy night to find out who won as the points are calculated not only on the feature race but heat racing as well.

The 'Cameron' AMCA Action Series now enters its last round at the Perth Motorplex.
