Round 3 of the 'Cameron' AMCA Action Series was held on a very lumpy Perth Motorplex. Drivers could have been forgiven for exiting their cars feeling sea sick with the corners of the track having more swell than the southern ocean. The man that handled the rough seas best was Koran Atkinson taking his second feature win for the year.
Trevor Bosveld qualified pole with Graham Murray starting on the outside. Much to Bosveld's dissapointment the first start was not up to the steward's standards and Murray was able to grab the lead next time around. Murray held the lead until the right rear gave up after 6 laps adding to his unimpressive DNF tally. By that stage Bosveld had spun his ride and Atkinson had taken the lead. Atkinson didn't make a mistake after that with the much improved Vanderleer 2nd, who has hit the lead in the series, followed by Bosveld and Dolmans Snr.

The 'Cameron' AMCA Action Series moves to the Margaret River Speedway on November 28th for the Margaret River Masters. With visiting drivers from Perth, Kalgoorlie, Esperance and Collie and the return of Fast Phil Zudiema this round is shaping up as the best yet.
