Round 7 of the 'Cameron' AMCA Action Series was Trevor Bosvelds night to shine. Not only did he take out the feature race he also hit the lead in the series, and is showing great form in the lead up to the 'Dean's Autoglass' State Title.
The track started out very slippery early in the night with many cars struggling to get any grip at all. This resulted in slow lap times and at lot of spin outs but the stewards never stopped the racing and Laurens 'Big Ted' Visser got the first heat win.
Colin Dolmans, in his Motorplex return, picked up the second heat win with an impressive all the way win in the #2 cardy chassis.
Trevor Bosveld had done enough in the heats to put his 'Summit Homes Group' #17 car on pole for the feature. Trevor shot to the lead early and was never challenged over the 15 lap journey. Hard charging Koran Atkinson was forced to circulate after he looped his ride which then appeared to develop engine trouble. Visser was running 3rd behind Zudiema but got crossed up coming out of turn 4, this allowed Murray through to battle out the minor placings with Zudiema who held Murray off for the rest of the race.
