State Title Form Guide

No. 2 :   Colin “The Outlaw” Dolmans

Colin has had a mixed season but a recent trip to the Australian Title has proved that The Outlaw has what it takes to win. Not frightened to put the car up on the highline.

No. 4 :  Laurens “Big Ted” Visser

Big Ted is a Perth based driver that is very familar with the Kalgoorlie circuit and should do well this time around. He ran 2nd last year and will be going all out to go one better.

No. 5 :  Phil “Shooter” Zudeima

Phil won the last feature for AMCA’s run here at Kalgoorlie and has also won a round of the AMCA Action Series here. Going on form he is certain to be at the pointy end of the field of the feature race.

No. 7 :  Jamie “Madman” Oldfield

Late Model throttle stomper Jamie Oldfield loves State/National Titles, he’d run the Junior State Title if they’d let him. So Earle Motorsport decided to give him the opportunity to run this one – keep an eye on #7 – it will be near the front.

No. 8 :  Jason “Revhead” Roberts

Jason burst onto the scene this year with an impressive debut showing a lot of pace in the ex-Jac Dolmans Jnr Cardy chassis. Yet to really mix it with a large group of drivers but I would expect a strong performance from the Kalgoorlie local.

No. 10 :  Peter “The Wild One” Newbury

Peter is the current AMCA Series Champion and has just stepped back into his car after using his brothers for most of the season. This change will definately see a turn around in his form and will now be a real chance at a podium finish.

No. 13 :  Peter “Churchy” Walker

Churchy is back after a very short retirement – speedway is in his blood. Churchy will have the ex-Mike Holmes Redline chassis wound up lacky band tight for the feature race.

No. 15 :  Pete “Smasher” Smith

Pete won the Motroplex Super Saturday meeting this year with an outstanding drive. Has had some car trouble since that meeting so hopefully it will last the distance.

No. 17 :  Trevor “The Bandit” Bosveld

Trevor has been dubbed a Motorplex specialist but after seeing his 2nd place performance at Margaret River that theory is out the window. Currently 2th on points in the AMCA ACTION SERIES The Bandit will be going hard to get valuable points at this late stage in the series.

No. 20 :  Graham “Mad dog” Murray

Mad Dog needs to sort his car and/or himself out before he can be given any serious chance. He’s a driver that probably hasn’t reached his potential but I doubt ever will due to a lack of commitment to his chosen sport.

No. 26 :  Glen “Wallbanger” Fliorenza

After last meetings trip into the pickets Harvey Wallbanger will be struggling to regain the confidence that saw him qualify outside pole of the 2006/2007 State Title.

No. 27 :  Brodie “Barnstorming” Plunkett

Brodie has stepped into an updated chassis this year and is showing some good results. He’s a racer that always gives 100% but does so on a budget. If there’s one guy that could be described as an underdog it’s Brodie.

No. 32 :  Ryan “The Gasman” Crombie

Ryan has had limited seat time this season so a podium finish could be out of reach, but anything can happen in a 30 lap feature.

No. 58 :  Lionel “Leadfoot” Kirkby

Lionel hasn’t had the season he was hoping for, but all that has been put aside and he is giving all his effort for the title. He knows this venue like the back of his hand and will have done more laps here than any other driver. Definite chance of a podium finish.

No. 63 :  Koran “Killa” Atkinson

Killa has been dubbed the  man to beat, driving the immaculate Cardy chassis #63 he is the only multiple feature winner in the AMCA Action Series. If you’re having a friendly bet with the guy standing next to you this is a safe one.

No. 76 :  Jarrad “Throttle Jockey” Burke

Jarrad has stepped up from Juniors into the V8’s and is in a process of changing his driving style to suit the much different tube chassis cars. Tonight will be great development experience for him.

No. 78 :  “Fast” Eddie Boeg

Fast Eddie will be just that – Fast. After the Esperance round Ed showed some great pace with the car getting better and better the longer the race went. Will be there at the end for a podium chance.

No. 82 :  Jack “The Hustler” Dolmans Snr.

Old man Jack has been on fire this season since upgrading his car and is our current leader of the AMCA ACTION SERIES. His last meeting at the Motorplex was awesome and left all of the younger guys in his dust. My “Dark Horse” for the win.

No. 99 :  Jason “Stealth” Bond

Jason has had more lows than highs this season, a disappointing engine failure at Collie being his biggest let down. His style of driving really suits the tighter country tracks and he’ll be a definite chance for a podium.

Best Bet: Killa Atkinson
Good Bet: Revhead Roberts
Smokey: Shooter Zudiema
Dark Horse: The Hustler Dolmans Snr.
No Chance: Mad Dog Murray
