AMCA WA Trophy Presentation 2010/2011 |

The 7th Avenue Bar & Bistro was the venue for this year's Trophy presentation hosted by Graham 'Mad Dog' Murray. The first award for the night went to Dave Newbury for best presented car. It was a credit to Dave as the car looked as good on the last night as it did on the first. Dave did everything with the help of his brother Peter, chassis/engine/body, a superb effort.
Best presented car Dave Newbury Barry Wroth from Wrothy's Workshop Gear was the main sponsor for the Country Tri-Series. The meetings that went towards these trophies were Margaret River, Kalgoorlie & Collie. Jack Dolmans Senior came out on top with Jason Bond 2nd and Peter Newbury 3rd. Thanks to Barry for his support of the Series and fantastic trophies. The Rod Bain Memorial for services to the club went to Peter 'Churchy' Walker. Peter's efforts in raising the profile of AMCA and being instrumental in promoting the 40 lapper in Esperance was an outstanding effort. Next up was the 'Cameron' AMCA Action Series which covered 11 meetings for the season. AMCA legend Jack Dolmans Senior edged out Jason Bond with Dave Newbury rounding out the top three. The boys covered a lot of kilometres this season and it's a credit to them for their speed, consistency and determination.
Cameron AMCA Action Series : Dave Newbury 3rd, Dolmans Snr 1st and Bond 2nd Last on the night's card was the highly atticipated Driver's Driver award. This is determined by a vote from every paticipant to determine the fairest & best throughout the series. Jack Dolmans Snr came out a convincing winning and a very popular winner.
