The WA Country Tri Series this year will kick off at the SmokeFree Collie Speedway on the 7th of November. Barry Wroth from Wrothy's Workshop Gear has sponsored the series since its inception and is back on board for season 09/10. The series provides an opportunity for country drivers who cannot attend every meeting of the Action Series a chance to win a series over their Perth rivals. The second round will be held at Esperance on the 16th of January and the final round at Moora on the 3rd of April. Last year's winner of the Wrothy's Workshop Gear Tri-Series was Peter Newbury. Peter is yet to finish his new car so a new champion is guaranteed - my money is on the fast improving Lionel Kirkby in the lightning quick #58 Ludlow chassis.
